How I partner with you
Organizations are navigating real pressure: tighter funding, stretched teams, and technology arriving faster than anyone can absorb.
My role is to be a thoughtful partner who knows the social impact sector from the inside and keeps the work grounded in what matters most, the mission and the people doing it. I partner with organizations and leaders across four connected areas, and most engagements draw on more than one.
1) Strategy and Sustainable Program Design
I help organizations design programs, partnerships, and funding models built to last beyond any single grant or funding cycle. This is the core of my work: turning a vision into a program that can actually run, and a program into something financially sustainable.
This draws on 25 years of building initiatives from concept through multi-year delivery across more than 30 countries, with a focus on solutions that are locally led and sustained by the communities they serve.
What this can include:
Program and initiative design, from concept through delivery
Sustainable and diversified funding models
Grant writing and proposal development
Partnership and stakeholder strategy
Fundraising and partnership strategy
Theory of change and program planning
2) Board and Organizational Engagement
I help boards and teams strengthen how they connect, decide, and lead together. Strong organizations are built on strong relationships and clear ways of working, and those can be designed and supported intentionally.
This is informed by hands-on experience building and leading nonprofit boards and advisory bodies from the ground up, including building WAKE International's Advisory Board from 2021 to 2025, recruiting and collaborating with women leaders across technology, finance, biotech, and social impact.
What this can include:
Board development and engagement
Advisory body design and recruitment
Facilitation of retreats and strategic planning
Team alignment and ways of working
Governance grounded in nonprofit realities
3) Human-Centered AI Adoption
I help teams adopt AI intentionally, in line with their values, with the governance, training, and workflows to use it well. The goal is to put these tools to work for the mission while keeping human judgment, and people, at the center.
This is a particular strength, and a current focus, but I approach it the same way I approach all of my work: grounded in your context, your community, and what your team can realistically sustain.
What this can include:
Role-specific AI training and coaching for the work your staff already do
Ethics, governance, and guardrails grounded in nonprofit realities
Hands-on workshops and 1:1 coaching that build confidence and judgment
Adoption plans tied to sustainable workflows
4) Wellbeing as Foundational for Sustainability and Impact
All of my engagements rest on a simple belief: a foundation of wellbeing strengthens your people, your organization, and your mission. Sustainable impact depends on sustainable organizations and sustainable people.
This is not a soft add-on. The pace of change, and AI in particular, brings real cognitive load and a genuine risk of burnout. I build that awareness into every engagement, so the change you make holds and does not deplete the people carrying it.
What this can include:
Burnout prevention and sustainable ways of working
Wellbeing-centered facilitation and workshops
Coaching for leaders to sustain themselves and their work
Attention to cognitive load and mental wellbeing in technology/AI adoption
